About Rose

My name is Rose Rizzo. I am from Pennsylvania. I moved to Waller Texas For better opportunities with horses, and I enjoy the wonderful weather here. I Have been teaching kids and adults for 30 years. I began riding when I was 5 years old and have been involved with horses ever since. I learned how to ride English and then eventually moved to Western riding doing barrel racing, team penning, and sorting. I have also been teaching trail riding lessons to all ages and levels. I began teaching in 1990 when I was 21. I worked for Shawnee Riding Stable in East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania.

I practice Natural Horsemanship, which helps to build the student's confidence and leadership. Learning how to safely be around horses and how to read them helps the student become a good rider. l teach western riding and I plan to customize each lesson to work on the specific needs of each student. I have had great feedback from past students!
